This sculpture reflects how one might feel while contemplating her own worth. When I am feeling this way, I generally sit on my bed with my legs crossed. I have felt the pain of considering myself worthless at times, and at these times I imagine that if I had no heart I could not feel it so deeply. I represented this in a literal way.
