Sculpture
This piece was cast in Iron using a life casting technique and wax manipulation. It uses the breast to represent the area around which we tend to feel our emotional heart. The puzzle lines are engraved to portray the concept that the human body is able to be built and re-built mentally. In this instance the "heartpiece" is lost, given away, stolen, waiting to be replaced by something or someone.
